Summary Statement

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual who is seeking to further their career in a consulting environment.

Reporting into the Head of Strategic Insights, this permanent full-time role is focused on thought leadership programs. It is very hands on and will involve immersion in all aspects of the process, from key account and relationship management, study design, respondent sampling and fieldwork, analysis, insight generation, and delivery of content.

There will be close interaction with our clients and consulting team, the opportunity to interview senior industry executives of asset owners, wealth businesses and official institutions for our institutional-focused studies and develop subject matter expertise in specific global asset management themes and topics. There is further opportunity to help grow into adjacent industries such as insurance. Most studies are global and significant international travel, particularly to the United States of America and Asia is likely to be required.

The studies to which this role will contribute are highly demanding, complex, and produce leading global content. Respondent recruitment, management, and fieldwork are particular challenges. Accordingly, this role suits a motivated individual who possesses strong technical and analytical skills, an appetite for client and stakeholder management, and personal qualities of perseverance and commitment to excellent outcomes.

Specific responsibilities include subject matter expertise in North American pension and retirement, global ESG policy & integration, regulation, global institutional asset management and retail advice; contributions to study design, questionnaire development, fieldwork completion (with direct involvement in in-depth interviews), management of teams of internal and external resources, analysis and insight generation, and report writing.

The immersion in our methodologies along with the ability to develop and articulate insights will be critical for success, but there is also significant scope for improvement in processes.

This requires a driven, dynamic, individual with a combination of industry knowledge, technical skill, and a flair for content and who can work well within a dynamic team and on their own with little supervision. For the successful candidate, it will build their knowledge of asset and wealth management, offer new experiences, and develop their consulting capability and expertise.
