Management Consultant – Systems Integration (Support) – Perth

The successful applicant will be required to review the integration of Group-wide finance and programming infrastructure and processes with a goal to optimising performance and leveraging global talent across these functions. Summary Statement

This is a highly specialised role at the nexus of Finance, Technology and Operations, requiring substantial experience and expertise in all three areas. It will require frequent travel from Perth to Group offices in South Africa, Singapore, the UK and Canada, in particular.

The role is primarily responsible for establishing and managing a Group-wide systems and technology program management office, particularly as it impacts the finance, accounting and business intelligence functions. The role will be required to bring in-house a review of the Group technology and systems strategy, expanding the scope of the review to a global level across all NMG Group offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review the integration of Group-wide finance and programming infrastructure and processes with a goal to optimising performance and leveraging global talent across these functions

  • Liaise closely with the CTO based in Perth, in addition to the CFO, CEO’s and Global Partners across multiple geographies and time-zones including in Australia, the UK and South Africa

  • Ascertain and establish organisational need, subsequently liaising with key finance, technology and operations stakeholders to implement a revised technology and systems approach aligned with organisational strategy

Competencies, Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years professional experience ideally in a consulting and professional services environment with exposure to pan-industry best practices; professional accountancy qualification (CA or equivalent)

  • A global mindset, having worked for MNCs, preferably with experience in or exposure to South Africa and Europe; program and project management experience across multi-faceted and complex international environments

  • Demonstrable expertise in systems & technology restructures from review to implementation across multiple markets; experience in reviewing, establishing and maintaining appropriate governance frameworks; an understanding of the dynamics of change management as they apply to systems and tech

  • Strong presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal); with an ability to operate and influence with key senior stakeholders on a regular basis; excellent attention to detail and quality standards

  • Skilled with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI; familiar with Modern Data Warehouse architecture (including SQL, Azure); familiar with major multi-currency and multi-jurisdiction Accounting systems
