NMG Associate – Singapore

We are looking for a self-motivated, outstanding individual to produce high-quality work with minimal supervision. This is a rare opportunity to be involved in a progressive consulting engagement in asset management on a flexible working basis. This will be performed on a contract basis, over several days per week for a period of 2-3 months, with the potential to contribute on an annual basis.

The Global Insights Consulting practice conducts more than 50 evidence-based Insights Consulting Programmes annually, covering life insurance, health insurance, wealth management, asset management and reinsurance, across all major financial services markets internationally.

Summary Statement

We now have an opportunity for an Associate to work with NMG on delivering asset management programs in Singapore. Each program requires executive-style interviews to be undertaken with key decision makers during August to November and potentially on an annual basis thereafter. This position will suit a self-motivated individual who possesses a strong understanding of asset management in the region.






Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct face-to-face interviews with key decision makers for management of institutional and retail assets (pension funds, insurers, banks, broker dealers, family offices, independent financial advisors, fund platform, online broker and research firms) in Singapore

  • Support NMG’s strategy and insights consulting practice in understanding the key themes and insights from the research study

Competencies, Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in the asset management industry with an existing network in the Singapore market

  • Ability to form relationships and gauge the thinking of key decision makers and global team of consultants

  • Proven analytical and project management skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Excellent attention to detail and high-quality standards
